Team Information
The Geronimo Elite Travel Team is a competitive girl’s lacrosse club from the Central Virginia Region. Our goal is to teach and train young women at the highest possible level – helping them achieve success and growth in the sport of lacrosse. Geronimo will help its participants become more complete, competitive and educated lacrosse players as well as more fulfilled and confident individuals. Our mission is for each member to thoroughly enjoy the experience of playing lacrosse and to provide an inspiration to continue playing at the next level. It has become a reality in all sports that high school programs are no longer sufficient enough for those who want to ascend to the next level. The expertise of coaching and the level of competition cannot match a specialized team such as Geronimo; therefore, this team is designed to supplement a high school career with excellent coaching and training as well as great on-field and off-field experiences. Participation with Geronimo is for dedicated players who share the love of the sport and are committed to being the best player and teammate she can be. We strongly encourage you to make your high school sports and activities your number one priority.
Benefits of the Geronimo Elite Team
After making the team, players are exposed to the following: 2-3 late winter skill based practice sessions 8-16 practice sessions Performance training (including agility, speed, endurance, strength) Guest coaches-when available Team membership for elite tournaments Coaching staff as college references Coordination with the player's current school coach to assist in the college recruiting and selection process when requested by the player's family Fun & Camaraderie!
Registration & Tryouts
Geronimo Elite select its players annually based on coach’s recommendations, athletic evaluation, commitment and tournament participation. Geronimo is dedicated to excellence in lacrosse performance and has high expectations on conduct, desire, work ethic and commitment. Geronimo Elite tryouts are held at Collegiate School in the late winter. The Geronimo Elite Team is open to players from any school. There is a fee for new players to try-out. That fee will be credited to the balance of those players who make the team. It will not be refunded to those who do not make the team. Please click HERE to begin the registration process.

Fees:
Annual Participation Fees $450
The player participation fee is due in full by the first team practice. (Schedule to be released by March 15) Please make checks payable to Geronimo Lacrosse. The amount of this fee is determined annually and covers the cost of uniforms, administrative expenses, and coaches.
Tournament Fees TBA
Tournament fees are not included in the annual player participation fee. Tournament fees are based on the roster number requirements as well as tournament/registration fees. Players are responsible for travel, lodging, meals and any other accommodations and related expenses for each tournament.
